
Dra. Sarina Navarro Santiesteban
Dr. Sarina Navarro is a specialist in oncological surgery. She is currently an attending physician at the Clínica de la Mujer of Hospital General Agustín O´Horán and conducts her private practice at Hospital Faro del Mayab, part of the Sistema de Salud Christus Muguerza.
She is a member of the Sociedad Mexicana de Oncología, where she currently serves on the board of directors of the Yucatán Chapter. Certified by the Consejo Mexicano de Oncología since 2017, her primary expertise lies in tumors related to women’s cancers. She has extensive experience in conservative procedures, oncoplastic surgery, and sentinel lymph node techniques for the treatment of malignant breast neoplasms. Additionally, she is trained in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of gynecological and digestive tract neoplasms.
She has participated in numerous national and international congresses. She has collaborated on the development of the Consenso Mexicano sobre el Diagnóstico y Tratamiento del Cáncer mamario in 2019 and 2021. She is a co-author of the Oncoguía de Cáncer Cervicouterino 2020. She graduated as a surgeon from the Escuela de Medicina del Tec de Monterrey.
Subsequently, she completed her specialty in General Surgery at the Hospital Regional 1° de Octubre del ISSSTE and her subspecialty in Oncological Surgery at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología, both endorsed by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
